Heartford House appreciates the support of our community. We understand that to be a successful organization we need the help of volunteers and others, because it truly takes a village! Currently we are able to take community groups and individuals as volunteers.
Due to the confidential nature of our work, volunteer opportunities are limited when it comes to direct contact with families and children. Though there are limitations, volunteers are able to assist with the following:
Though volunteers are limited when it comes to engagement with our families, their work behind the scenes allows for our center to run smoothly and look in tip top shape!

- Organizing and maintaining our Kindness Closet
- Collaborating with staff to manage/develop our social media
- Assisting with any maintenance or cleaning needs within the center
